Bathtime is a fun time, a time for infants and children to explore the water. How it feels, how it moves, what sinks and what floats. A responsible adult must always actively supervise children at bathtime and keep within arms reach.

  • Never let your bathtime routine be interrupted. No distractions such as mobile phones, tablets, laptops.
  • Never leave a child unattended.
  • If you have to leave the bathroom, take your child with you.
  • Never leave older children to care for or supervise younger children.
  • Bath aids such as seats are a great help at bathtime, however, they are not a substitute for adult supervision.
  • Keep the water to a minimum depth.
  • Always remove toys, remove the plug (place out of reach) and close the bathroom door when finished.
