Do you remember playing hopscotch? Can you remember the rules? This is a fun way for the family to get a little active.
Use chalk or masking tape to create your hopscotch ladder. You can make it as long as you like, there’s usually 10 squares consisting of single and double squares (just like the photo).
- Gently toss a stone onto the first square and hop over it.
- Keep hopping to the end of the course. When there’s a pair of squares you can jump instead of hop. Try to land with a foot in each square.
- At the end of the course turn around and hop and jump back again. Don’t forget to stop and pick up the stone along the way.
- Take it in turns, once everyone has completed number one, move on to number two, continuing until the course is complete.
Have fun 🙂
